BRNARDIC, Barka. Passed away peacefully on May 3, 2009 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Stjepan "Steve" (2006). Loving mother to Steve Brnardic and wife Jayne of LaSalle. Cherished Baba to Steven Brnardic and wife Lindsay, and Ryan Brnardic. Great-Grandmother to Blake Brnardic. Dear sister of the late Miho Kovacic and surviving wife Marica of Croatia, late Jelka Brnardic and husband Alojz of Windsor and surviving sister Katica Pintar and late husband John of Schumacher, ON. Dear sister in-law to Marica Pecar and husband Josip of Windsor. Also survived by nieces and nephews in Canada and Croatia. Mrs. Brnardic was a retired housekeeper at Metropolitan Hospital and a faithful and devoted member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Parish prayers Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. Funeral Services on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the Windsor Chapel then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
