Obituary of David Earl Roberts

ROBERTS David E. Master Corporal (Retired) July 6, 1954- March 9, 2009. Passed away during an accidental fire at home in Smoky Lake Alta. Dearest only brother of Jim Roberts and wife Lynn. Loved son of Joe & Adele (deceased). Sadly missed by nephew Corey Collins and wife Melissa and favourite great uncle to Sammy and Abby. David retired following 27 years of distinguished service in the Canadian Armed Forces. Dave will be sadly missed by many family and friends in Smoky Lake and Windsor area. The family will receive friends on Saturday April 4, 2009 at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial and Veteran's service under the auspices of the Windsor Veteran's Memorial Committee will take place to celebrate Dave's life at 11:00 a.m. As your expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (for Leukemia Research) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
