Obituary of Antonio Angelo Zilli

ZILLI, Antonio Angelo Passed away peacefully on March 5, 2009 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Western Campus at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of 58 years to Amalia. Loving father to Rita Dietz and husband Paul, the late Nino Pellarin (2000), and Sarina Cian and husband Gary. Cherished Nonno to Daniel Pellarin and wife Christina, Camille Pellarin, Marco and Stefania Cian. Dear brother to Anna Maria (2009), Cecilia, and Camilla all of Italy. Survived by many relatives in Ontario, United States and Italy. Toni was an employee at Chrysler Canada and a member of C.A.W. Local 444, and The Fogolar Furlan Club. He served in the Italian Army and was a Prisoner of War (P.O.W.) during WW II. Toni had a passion for music, gardening and spending time with his loving family. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, March 8, 2009 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services Monday, March 9, 2009 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scalabrini for the Poor or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
