Obituary of Francesco Piazza

PIAZZA, Francesco 89 years. Passed away peacefully at home on March 4, 2009. Beloved husband of 63 years to Anna (Nee Grado). Loving and devoted father to Enzo Piazza, Josephine and husband John Donato, Domenica and husband Bruno Cremasco, Giovanna and husband Pietro Cammalleri, Peter and wife Franca Piazza, Tony and wife Denise Piazza. Cherished Nonno to 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear brother to Alfonso Piazza and late wife Jenny, Leonardo and Pina Piazza, Giuseppe and Gina Grado. Predeceased by siblings Tony and Alfonsa Piazza, Giovanna and Giuseppe Scalia, and Salvatore Grado. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Piazza was a retired employee of Chrysler Canada and a member of C.A.W. Local 444. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, March 5, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Friday at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 12:15 p.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
