Obituary of Peter Koblosh

KOBLOSH, Peter Born October 4, 1922. Passed away on February 10, 2009 at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband for years to Mary (nee Mulawka). Loving father of Lily Schooley and husband Robert C. of Kingsville, and the late Dr. Alexander Koblosh (2004). Cherished grandfather of Dr. Stephanie J. Chaney (nee Schooley) and husband Dr. Tom Chaney and Britt A. Schooley. Great grandfather of Kasey. Dear brother of Luba Derkach of Toronto. Dear uncle of Dr. Peter Derkach and his companion Debbie and their children Daniel and Shealagh of Toronto. Survived by relatives in Canada, United States, Ukraine and Poland. Peter retired from General Motors Transmission Plant in 1987 and was a member of the C.A.W. Local 1973. He was also a member of Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church. Visiting at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, February 13, 2009 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Panakhyda Friday at 7:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are requested to meet on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church (1505 Langlois Ave.) for visitation from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Rt. Rev. Fr. Eugene Halitsky officiating.
