GORUP, Zorka (Nee Lorkovic) 78 years. Passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 8, 2009 at Huron Lodge Home for Seniors. Beloved wife of the late Janko Gorup (1983). Loving and devoted mother to Lillian Mandic and son-in-law Blaz Mandic. Cherished "Baka" to Olivia Mandic and Mark Mandic. Dear sister to Marica Srakocic and late husband Janko of Croatia, Ana Frketic and late husband Marko of Windsor, Barka Barsic and husband Ivan of Croatia, Kathy Cvitkovic and husband Pavao of Windsor, and Nevanka Pocrnic. Dear sister-in-law to Kathy Lorkovic. Predeceased by parents Mirko and Ana Lorkovic, brother Josip Lorkovic and sister Dragica Matuzic. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada, U.S.A. and Croatia. Mrs. Gorup was retired from Hotel Dieu Hospital and was a faithful member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Wednesday at 8 p.m. Funeral Services on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church Building Fund.
