CAVALLARO, Alfio Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 6, 2009 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of Filippa. Loving father of Carmela Cavallaro, Nella Bieszk and husband Leon, Angelo Cavallaro and wife Josie. Caro Nonno of Adam, Dioniza, Daniel, Alana, Anthony and Matthew. Son of the late Carmela and Angelo Cavallaro. Dear brother of the late Maria Zapalla and survived by brother Salvatore and wife Amelia Cavallaro. Dear Zio to Angelo Cavallaro, Giuseppe Cavallaro and wife Enza, Carmela Calvaruso and husband Sam, Alfio Zapalla and wife Carmela, Angelo Zapalla, Salvatore Zapalla and wife Maria. Alfio was a well known barber in the Windsor area for many decades. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. p.m. Sunday February 8, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers Monday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 10:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
