Obituary of Martin Kessel

KESSEL, Martin 84 years. It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Martin on February 1, 2009 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus. Beloved husband of 60 years to Rosalia . Loving father of Frank Kessel (2004). Cherished grandfather of Jodi Kessel-Levesque and husband Rodney, Jeff Kessel and wife Tammy. Great grandfather of Tate Levesque, Reed Levesque, Persephanie "Pebble" Kessel. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and relatives in Germany. Martin worked at Dominion Forge Company for 30 years and enjoyed 23 years of retirement. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Wednesday evening at p.m. Relatives and friends will be received for visitation on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at St. Michael's German Church (2153 Parkwood Avenue) from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
