Diamante, Mario Giuseppe 76 yrs on January 26, 2009 Loving husband of 48 yrs to Lilia (nee Martinis) Dear father to Laura and husband Richi Casagrande of Lakeshore, and Franco and wife Susie Diamante of Belle River. Beloved nonno to Lauren and Lisa Casagrande and Matthew, Jacob, Natalie and Anthony Diamante. Dear brother to Paolina and Severino Nadalin of Italy; Edda Nicodemo and the late Gino; Nella and the late Severino Nicodemo and Luigi and Marie Diamante, all of Windsor. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, Italy, England and Australia. Mr. Diamante was a member of the Carpenters Union # 494, and a lifetime member of the Fogolar Furlan Club and an avid moose hunter. Resting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Prayers at 8:00 pm. Funeral Thursday January 29, 2009 at 8:45 am from the Funeral Home to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 am.
