MATRUNDOLA, Iolanda (Nee Di Ponio) It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our dear beloved mother Iolanda at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital surrounded by her family on January 20, 2009. Born in Cervaro, Frosinone, Italy on October 18, 1918. Beloved wife of 66 years to the late Rachizio (2002). Devoted mother of daughters Antonietta Petrilli and husband Tullio, Italia "Ida" Bosco and husband Biagio, Ersilia Eva Sirizzotti and husband Angelo. Loving daughter of the late Pasquale and Tomassina Di Ponio. Cherished grandmother of Diane Colasanti (Arduino), Mario Petrilli (Rachelle), Loretta Gallo (Peter), Paul Bosco (Adriana), Michael Sirizzotti (Marina), Robert Sirizzotti, Lisa Sirizzotti and fianc" Frank. Loving great-grandmother of Linda Colasanti Guadagno and husband Michael, Melissa, David Colasanti and girl friend Dina, Sean and Andrea Gallo, Michelangelo and John-Paul Bosco, Erica Petrilli and baby Gianna Sirizzotti. Great-great grandmother of baby Mila Guadagno. Dear sister to Luigi Di Ponio (late sister-in-law Lillian), Joseph Di Ponio and wife Gertrude of Detroit, the late Vincenza Colletta (1944-Italy) and (late husband Roberto). Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, United States, Italy and France). Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Thursday, January 22, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 5 and 7to 9 p.m. Prayers Friday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
