Obituary of Patricia May Demers

DEMERS, Patricia May ( nee Morand ) Passed away peacefully on January 13, 2009 at the age of 79, surrounded by her loving family. Reunited with her beloved husband Dr. Percy Demers (2002). Much loved mother and best friend that will be sadly missed by her sons and daughters Dennis & wife Barbie (Ellwood) , Michelle & husband Jim Barta, Greg, Janice & husband John Kaschak, Tom Demers & Sandi Haslip, Renee & husband Tim Eansor and Colette & husband John Gorski all of Windsor. Beloved meme of Jennifer and Matthew Demers, Jason & wife Tina, Justin and Jordan & wife Brittany Campeau, Elisa & husband Julio Linares, Erica & husband Adam Kavanaugh, Darren Demers, Keith & wife Nicole, Brandon and Shayna Kaschak, Joshua Demers and Nicole & Samantha Gorski. Cherished great meme to Dylan , Brayden, Kristopher and Ariel. She will live forever in the hearts of all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beloved daughter of the late Ira & Elizabeth ( Fields ). Dearest sister of Geraldine and her late husband Joe Fontaine, and the late Gary Morand & wife Gloria , the late Ronnie Morand and survived by Jay & Cheryl Morand. Loving sister in law to Jean & the late Sam Breault, Roland & Anne Demers, Marcel Demers & Shirley, Bernice & the late Jack Donaldson and Doreen & her late husband Justice Kenneth Ouellette. Cherished aunt to many nieces & nephews. A special thank you to the very caring & compassionate staff at Windsor Regional Hospital - Met Campus 8 North , the ER Staff and to all the Physicians who tended to her care. VISITATION AT THE WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd East (519-253-7234) on Thursday January 15, 2009 from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. Parish prayers Thursday at 7:30 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday January 16, 2009 at St. Anne's Church in Tecumseh (12233 Tecumseh Rd E.) where she will lie in state from 9:30 AM until time of Mass of the Resurrection at 10:30 AM. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to Hospice of Windsor & Essex County - Hospice Village.
