Obituary of Melba Katherine Meloche

MELOCHE, Melba Katherine (Nee Gould) Passed away peacefully on January 9, 2009 at Central Park Lodge at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Ray Meloche (1995). Loving mother to Marie and Ray Charbonneau, Douglas, Marilyn Logan Shaw, Ernest (1997) and surviving wife Jackie, Dave (2001), Denis (1974), Wendy and Kelly O'Brien. Cherished grandmother of Michael, Stephen, Linda, Debra, Mark, Paula, Cal, Brenda, Kenny, Caron, Danny, Lyz, Shane, Kate, Lauren and Michael. Great grandmother of 27 and one great great grandson. Predeceased by great grandson Cpl. Andrew Grenon. Dear sister of Marjorie (Marnie) Adkin, Predeceased by three sisters, Ownie Houston, Dora Roberts, Enie McFadden. Dear sister-in-law of Elmer and Gloria Meloche and predeceased by Wally Meloche, Rose Renaud Lesperance, Violet Mailloux and Leona Jones. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Melba was a creative person and a Jill of all trades, and would tackle anything, even carpet dyeing which of course led to reupholstering. Melba was a wonderful and generous neighbour and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday, January 12, 2009 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Monday at 3:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are requested to meet at St. Theresa's Parish (1991 Norman Road) on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 for visitation from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
