Obituary of Anna Rom

ROM, Anna (Nee Bobinac) 86 years. Was called to be with her Lord on January 9th, 2009. She passed away peacefully, after a long battle with Alzheimer"s. Beloved wife to the late Ivan Rom (1998). Loving mother to Zeljka "Jackie" and Ivica Bakic, Zdravko and Ljubica Rom, Zvonko and Helen Prusac, Zlatko and Branka Prusac. Dearest Baka of Danijela and Suzana and fianc"e Gord Kolich. Also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren in the United States and Croatia. Special "Baka" to Marica Olujic and family, Ankica Marelic and family, and Marija Draskovic and family. Anna was a faithful and devoted member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday, January 12, 2009 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Monday at 8 p.m. Funeral Services on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Crkva Sv. Antun Padovanski in Otok, Croatia or to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
