Obituary of Marie Easby

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of (Betty) Marie Easby (nee Gee) at the age of 89 after a lengthy illness.

Wife of the late Frank Easby (1997).  Much loved mom to Pat (Dennis), Debi (Rob), Denise (Charlie), and Don (Sue).  Cherished Gram to Michelle (Jaret), Michael (Tara), Matthew (Christine), Paul (Lisa), Melissa (Myron), Joshua (Melissa), and Christopher (Tina).  Adored Great Gram/Grammy to Austyn, J.J., Payton, Gavin, Clara, Carter, Luke, and Baby Easby.

Daughter of the late Verna (nee Smith) (2002) and late George Gee (1997) of Chatham.  Daughter-in-law of the late Leota (2001) and late John Easby (1968) of Windsor.

Loving "Big Sister" to Garry (Mary) Gee and sister-in-law to the late Jack (Sandy) Easby, Bill (late Grace) Easby, Terry (Carole) Easby, Carol Zavitz, Linda Bishop, and late Sylvia Easby.

Her favourite pass times were going for walks, art-in-the park, knitting and word search puzzles.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the staff of Heron Terrace for their exceptional compassion and care.

Cremation has taken place and visitation will take place on January 29, 2025 at Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. in Windsor from 3:00pm until 5:00pm and 6:00pm until 8:00pm.  A private family interment will take place at a later date at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex or a charity of your choice in memory of (Betty) Marie would be appreciated.
