Obituary of John Nick Salzer

Salzer, John Nick It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Father, at the age of 77 years reunited with his beloved wife Jean (nee Kukurski) 2003. Dear Father to Thomas Salzer of LaSalle; Cindy and Ted Polewski of Lakeshore and Wendy Salzer of Windsor. John loved and adored his Grand Children. Dear Grandfather to David, Amanda and Michael "Mike" Polewski, Valerie, Elisha, Andrea and Rachel Renaud. Dear Brother of Theresa "Taffie" Salzer-Glass of Michigan, Joseph and Sue Salzer of Fort Erie and the late Anthony and Mae Salzer. John will be sadly missed by his best friend and Brother-in-law Rino Sovran and his late wife Joan. Also survived by his Sister-in-law Carol Rudiak and husband Myron and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Sister-in-law Lucille and Husband George Hohendorf. Special thanks to Dr. Sijan and the nurses and staff of WRHC T4W Western Campus. Resting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East. Visitation is on Thursday December 18, 2008 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 Prayers will be at 3 pm Thursday December 18. Prayers will be at the funeral home Friday December 19, 2008 at 9:45 am. From funeral home to Corpus Christi Church for funeral mass at 10:30 am. Entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
