Obituary of Ronald Farrand

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Ronald Richard Farrand with his family by his side on January 2, 2025. Loving husband and best friend to Helen (nee. Malette) for 54 years. Cherished dad to the late Scott (2018) (Shelley), Shannon, and Christopher (Amanda). Beloved Grandpa and Papa to Austin, Ashley, Aliyah, Brooklyn, Mackenzie, Samantha, Roman, Dominick, Carter, Austin, Alice, Angela, and Audrey. Reunited in heaven with his parents Raymond Louis and Yvonne (nee. Maurice) Farrand and brothers Paul (Betty) and Donald (Joanne). Survived by his brothers Gerry (Eve), Rick (Barb, and sisters Louise (Gerry), and Pauline. Forever missed by his brothers and sisters in law, Simonne, Thomas, Raymond (Becky), Irene (Dan), Susan (Ken), Jim (Irene), Paul (late Deb), late Albert, and Linda. He will be forever missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Ron was devoted to his faith, he was a volunteer at the church for many years. He was a faithful Toronto Maple Leafs Fan, and Toronto Blue Jays Fan and Loved to watch his favorite teams play, win or lose. Ron enjoys playing golf, bowling, playing darts, and pool. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers at 8:30 p.mFuneral Service on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home then in procession to Immaculate Heart/St. Michael’s Parish for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
