Dear Jodi and family, I have just finished reading this sad announcement of Judy's passing. Your dear mom and I were primary teachers at Oakwood School in the early 1970's and taught in adjoining classrooms. She became an instant friend, so kind, caring, very highly respected and loved, by students and parents. To read of all that she has done for her church, through volunteering and service to others is exactly how Judy would want to be remembered. Judy's legacy will live on in all who have been fortunate to have known this special lady. I am so honoured to have been one of her friends. My sincere condolences to you, Jodi and to Judy's family. My sincere condolences to Judy’s friends and family. I met Judy at the Bank but we grew into friends , I remember her sharing stories about Jodi and her writing and editing, she was very proud. A great lady who will be missed.

My deepest condolences to you Jodi on the passing of your mom...and to all of those who experienced her profound life, love, and teaching...thank you for sharing your own journey for this closing chapter of a life that had an impact on so many. She left the world a better place--and there can really be no greater gift than that from her life. Having lost both of my parents already, and with my mother's occasion being the most profound in my presence, I know how it can be to experience such a happening that is all too existential for sure...so let me simply convey: you are in my thoughts and I wish you the very best in the healing of it all as she sleeps well and watches over you.
