Dear Claire and family, Our heartfelt condolences on your tremendous loss. While growing up Nereo was such part of our family's lives. My parents loved him..and so did we. He made you happy just being around him with his laugh, jokes and just overall kind and funny nature. John worked with him at the schoolboard as a student and Nereo was always so nice to him and made the work day a pleasant one!! We have such beautiful memories of Nereo. He was such a good friend to Carlo. He was there with Carlo till the end. Nereo was also an incredible friend to so many. The stories are endless: wine making, salami making, capicollo making, muzzetti in the pot, brodo boiling over, sugo simmering away, Caboto Club, Caboto Park, card playing, kids playing, laughing, crying and yelling (sometimes at the same time). all my condolences my dear cousin from Monique and Gilles in Valleyfield i did not hve a chance to know him very well because of the distance but from your comments Claire he was a warm and generous man who loved you and his family with all his heart and these years it is worth a fortune to be with someone like that i am sure he will be missed by his own family and friends pls take care of yourself and give me some news when things settle down ok love you very much

Dear Claire and family. We are so sorry for the loss of your loved one, Nereo. Tom had the pleasure of working with Nereo at Dominion Forge and then I had the pleasure of working with Nereo at Rooney School. He was a very nice man to all.
