Obituary of Jodie Alexandra Sequeira
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Jodie Alexandra Sequeira, who left us too soon at the age of 24. Surrounded by family, Jodie passed peacefully, leaving an irreplaceable void in all who knew her.
Jodie was a radiant young woman with unwavering faith and a deep trust in God's plan. Her kindness, generosity, and love for others made her a source of light to her family and community. She was a devoted daughter to Yenny Sequeira - Salazar and Joe Sequeira (Shannon) and a cherished sister to Jordan, Jacob, and Mateo, and a beloved granddaughter to Vovo and Vuvu (Olimpia and Victor Sequeira), Wita and Wito (Olga and Andres Salazar).
Jodie was also deeply loved by her extended family, including her Titi Cristina (Uncle Thom), Tio Andres (Leia), Joah and Athenas, Tia Andreina (Uncle Klajdi), Daniel and Dominic, with whom she shared many joyful memories of laughter, games, music, and dancing.
Jodie’s love for life was evident in everything she did. A passionate soccer player and fitness enthusiast, she was driven and competitive, always pushing herself to be her best. Her playful personality, quick wit, and love for candy and spicy chips brought joy to all around her.
Jodie was brave, headstrong, and fiercely loyal to those she loved. She dreamed of starting a foundation to make a difference and use her love for soccer to bring joy to others. Though her dreams were cut short, her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew her.
Visitation will take place on Thursday December 19th, from 3pm-5pm & 7pm-9pm at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home-South Chapel, 3048 Dougall Ave, (519-253-7236). A celebration of Jodie’s life will be held on Friday December 20th at 12pm in the chapel. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jojo’s Foundation in her honor via e-transfer (jojosfoundation@outlook.com) or in person during the celebration of life.
Rest in the peace of God’s presence, Jodie. Your love, laughter, and light will never be forgotten.
