Obituary of Angela Lopetrone

LOPETRONE, Angela (nee Lopez)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Nonna Angela, on December 14, 2024 at 87 years of age. Born in San Giovanni in Fiore, Italia, where she met and married her soulmate Salvatore, with whom she shared a loving marriage until his passing in 2019.

Angela cherished her family, sons Antonio (Sheila) and Rosario (Filomena).  She loved nothing more in this life than her grandchildren, Chelsea Smithson (Mitchell), Erika (Alfred) and Salvatore "Sammy", who were her pride and joy.

Angela leaves behind her sister Antonietta Belcastro along with several family members in Italy. Survived by brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Rosetta DeMarco along with many nieces and nephews.

Angela will always be remembered for her love of family and friends, her amazing cooking and her deep faith. She will forever be remembered as everyone's loving Nonna. 

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Avenue (519-253-7236) on Tuesday, December 17th from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home then to St Angela Merici Church,  980 Louis Ave, for the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
