With a desire to further his education, Pete accepted a part time position at the Computer Science Department at the University of Western Ontario in London so he could complete his BSc. in Computer Science. Then as a two year full time student with a young family, he completed his MBA. His career then took him to St. John's as Director of System Development at Computer Services; to Queen's Park Toronto, as Director, Systems Development at the Community of Social Services and finally to Hiram Walker's Windsor where he retired as Manager of U.S. and Canadian Payroll in 1997.
Upon retirement, Pete and Barbara enjoyed 27 winters in Florida, traveling, cruising, and being very involved in an active 55+ community. Over the years, Pete played tennis, squash, golf, and senior's softball. He supported and encouraged his children always attending their sports activities and often helped coach.
