I too am a reader of the Windsor star. I did not know Mary or her family but when I read her obituary this morning I was so impressed by Mary and her family… what a beautiful tribute to your mom…. I loved it. Mary was so blessed to have a beautiful family. You sure did her proud. Mary was a very beautiful mom/ gramma. She sure raised you all with kindness, love and devotion. To the family of Mary. First of all, this is to the family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of Mary, my heartfelt sympathy for the loss this beautiful woman. I never met your Mother or anyone in your family, but after reading such an amazing tribute to your Mother and Grandmother, I really felt that I had to say that "you did her proud". I wish I would have known her as her life was amazing. I was so taken by your tribute to her that I had to cut it out and save it for my family. I too am a proud Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother too and understand the importance of being there for our children. I want my children to see how it is important for them to carry on the importance of raising their families to be kind and upstanding people as your Mother had taught you all. Your tribute shows how much you have loved her. God Bless you all as you grieve for the loss of such a beautiful legacy. Linda Hill

I had the pleasure of meeting the Dynamic Duo when I got my haircut by Gayle. I actually hoped they would be there at the same time as I was as it was so much fun listening to and talking to them She was a bright light and a positive energy that I can only hope to attain as i grow older. An Angel has become an Angel.. What a great life lived..!!

I met Mary , Joe and her twin Margaret sixty years ago, and when I married Reggie thirty three years ago, I was proud to bring him to meet Mary and Joe and also Margaret. They became friends right away and I recall Joe’s stories about old experiences with RCMP members. Reggie enjoyed hearing them and we were sad when he passed away. Mary’s little house on Byng road was always such a welcoming place for everyone. I recall Killy and I sitting at the piano singing songs with many friends. Mary greeted everyone with a smile and bid us goodbye with her “toodleoo!” We have nothing but wonderful memories with that beautiful lady. Rest in peace dear Mary.❤️

To all our beautiful first cousins, Rob, Cathy, Mary Joe, Jamie, Gail, Lisa, Karen, spouses and children we offer our deepest sympathy to you all on the lose of your mom Mary Mac. I can't tell you how much Joe and Mary meant to us. Because of them we got to meet all of you people. So many visits to 3615 Byng Rd. and Judique and Hawthorne. They made sure we got to know each other. Mary enjoyed her visits and thanks to her family for that. May she rest in peace RIP. Donnie Annette and family.

I'm so grateful that I had the pleasure of knowing Mary (and Margaret) through my grandparents, Homer and Lil. As a kid, I always found it fascinating that they were twins who chose to live so close to one another. Mary was almost like an extended member of our family with the invites to her and Margaret's fabulous birthday blowouts, to the way she embraced and loved my Uncle Mike and the rest of us. To the Mac Millan family, my condolences to all of you. To know Mary was something special.
