To Gerald’s family and friends , may you find moments of peace in the midst of sorrow. I don’t think I can think of a time where I didn’t see him smiling especially if we were talking about fishing. I will not forget the kindness he showed me. May the love of those around you help you all through the days ahead. My deepest condolences.

My deepest condolences to his family. I've only known him for a short 6 years, and in this time, I came to think of him as a great friend. He was so fun to be around with. His sense of humour and ability to make everyone feel better is why he had such an impact on me. He will me deeply missed by so many who loved him. We used to fish together and most times I would out fish him ( whether I cheated or not) a good friend told me today you never get skunked when fishing in heaven. I hope that's true. Til we meet again my friend ❤️

Gerald and I started a CBSA together, working together as bilingual officers for 10yrs or so. We were two of the few local hires, so we had lots in common. L’Essor grads, love of sports and our kids were our lives. Gerry was kind, friendly, enthusiastic about our work and life in general. Condolences to the family. Rest in peace my friend.

Diane Léonard-Humphrey
