To: Tefta Balla, Ron Balla and Donika McFarlane, I am so sorry for the Loss of your wonderful farther Halil Balla. He was such a wonderful man. I really enjoyed helping your farther while he was at Chartwell Oak Park Lasalle.. I really truly deeply miss him so much. it was a honor and pleasure to be with him and enjoy his company. He was a true Gem. May he rest in peace My wonderful pal Halil Balla.

Tefta, Ron, & Donika, We will miss your Dad's smile, laugh, and "I love you" whenever we saw him while visiting our Dad at Huron Lodge. Our fathers became friends, and even though we don't think they could hear each or understand each other - it didn't matter to them. They watched the World Cup together (my Dad doesn't even like soccer - but loved the company of "The Coffee Man") and cheered when there was a goal, and sometimes when there wasn't a goal. Wise words from Halil: "Don't be good. No one pays attention to you." Thank you for the smiles, our little man. You will be missed. David & Marlo Van Mackelberg

My condolences to Danaka, Tefta and the Halil family ❤️ Halil aka Pappa was a gentle , happy, humble and amazing man whom I had the privilege to care for at Huron Lodge Every time I would say “hello my pappa” he would give me that infectious smile and laugh. I always gave him a hug and kiss on the forehead. I will always remember “my pappa” and the conversations that were had. He will be dearly missed Rest easy my friend ❤️
