Dear father of David and wife Lori, Renee and husband Tim, and Celeste. Husband of Annette Marie Gelinas of 32 years. Step-father of Rose-Ann and husband Tony, Tim and wife Diane, Jamie and wife Tammy and Tom. Dear grandfather of Taylor, Kelcie, Paige, Jaden, Wesley, William, Emily, Travis, Hailey, and Victoria. Dear great grandfather of Jayela, Saige, Noah, Lauren and Brylee. Dear brother of the late Lucy and Michael. Several nieces and nephews survive. Rene was a retired employee of Chrysler Canada and a member of the Local 444 and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E (519)253-7235 on Sunday November 3, 2024 from 4 to 8pm. Visitation will continue on Monday November 4, 2024 at St. Francis of Xavier Church (32 Canal Street West, Tilbury ON ) from 10am until time of funeral mass at 11am. Interment to follow at St. Francis Cemetery (Tilbury ON). As your expression of sympathy donations may be made to Tilbury Information and Help Centre.
