It is with broken hearts that we have to announce the passing of a much loved father, brother, uncle and friend George Cyrus Copeland on October 12, 2024. Loving and devoted father of Chad, Maxwell, and Tira. George is the glue of the Copeland family and his siblings Sonny, Conroy, Joe, Eli, Dorothy, John, and Bert will miss his messages of encouragement, positivity, and birthday love.

George was a proud and dedicated Windsor Firefighter. Anyone and everyone who knows George loves him. He is known for his amazing sports ability, his zest for life and his ability to have fun, and terrorize the new recruits at the fire hall. He truly is one of a kind and will be fondly remembered by everyone that knows him for years to come.

Visiting for George will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519)253-7235. On Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Firefighters walkthrough to take place at 7pm. On Friday, visiting will continue from 10:00 a.m. at Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home 1525 Highway 3, Oldcastle until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
