Obituary of Guy Vaillancourt

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Guy Vaillancourt on September 30, 2024, at the age of 51.

Guy was the beloved husband of Robin (nee Marchand) for 26 years and a cherished father to Paris and partner Jordan, Robi-Jo and partner David, and Jade. He was also a devoted papa to Ben and a loving son of Françoise (nee Theriault) and her late husband, Camille Vaillancourt. Guy was a dear brother to Christine and her husband, Kirk, and a loving uncle to Krystal and Kyle. His beloved fur-baby, Willow, will surely miss their golf-cart rides, and Guy is now reunited with his cherished companion, Justice.

A dedicated driver, Guy began his career at Abrams Towing before becoming a long-time driver for GFL. He formed many lasting friendships throughout his career and cherished his work brothers deeply. An avid camper, Guy enjoyed bonfires and cooking for his family. He was the social butterfly of his campground and will be greatly missed by his friends, especially his brothers Marty and Moe.

As per Guy's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at Windsor Chapel, 3948 Dougall Avenue, on Tuesday, October 8, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a service to follow at 8:00 p.m.

Guy's warmth and spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
