Obituary of Sylvia McTavish

McTavish, Sylvia (Nee Mateciuk) May 8, 1922 – February 10, 2020 It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of Sylvia on February 10, 2020 surrounded by family. She goes to join her husband Peter (1991) with whom she shared many years of marriage. Beloved daughter of Paul (pd) and Frozina Mateciuk (pd). Cherished mother to Jim (Helen), and Irene (John). Proud grandmother to Sherri, Joel, Danny, and Jason. Treasured great-grandmother to 12 great-grandchildren and great-great grandmother to 5 great-great grandchildren. She will be missed by her family and friends. If so, desired memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada. Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 12, 2020 at Windsor Chapel, (BANWELL CHAPEL) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7234) at 2-5pm and 7-9pm with prayers at 7:30pm. Visitation will continue on February 13, 2020 at Descent of the Holy Ghost church at 9:30am until time of Funeral Service at 10am. Burial to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
