Obituary of Pam Parent

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Pamela “Pam” Parent on September 30, 2024. Loving partner to George Bornais for over 20 years. Beloved mother to Tim Parent, Shelly (Ryan) Kennedy, and Sherry (Andrew) Robinson. Caring foster mother to Kyle Girardin, and Sandra Stanish. Cherished grandma to Rebeca (Chris) Minor, Dr. Corey (Alexandra) Parent, Elizabeth Parent, Jacob Kane, Blaise Robinson, Noah Robinson, Genevieve Robinson, and Lucy-Anne Robinson. Great Grandma to Christopher, Jadyn, Abel, and Baby Parent (2024). Reunited with her parents Fred and Anne Chambers. Survived by her sister and best friend Shirley (Des) McGuire. She will forever be missed by her nieces and nephews, extended family, and her many friends who loved her dearly.

Pam was a nurse for over 20 years, she dedicated her life to caring of others, but the most important thing to Mom was taking care of her family. Her Children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her everything, she made sure we were always first, and loved each one of us unconditionally. She was an excellent cook, when she made meals, you could feed an army. She made sure if you were at her home you were fed. her cabbage rolls were a cant miss meal. Mom loved to spend time at the senior center where she would love to play cards, and spend time with her many friends. Mom’s favorite time was when she got to go shopping, she would adore going on her girls days and spending time with us, it didn’t matter what store we went to as long as it was together.

Arrangement entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E (519-253-7234). As per Pam’s wishes cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 10:30am at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Rd). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Life After Fifty Windsor.
