Obituary of Mario Muscedere

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mario Muscedere who passed at Windsor Regional Hospital Metropolitan Campus surrounded by his family on Thursday September 26, 2024 at the age of 86.  

Loving husband of Loreta Muscedere (nee DiCarlo) for 65 years.  

Adored father of Maria (Michael) Caschera and Rocco (Lisa) Muscedere.  Proud Nonno of Tony (Christina), Mario, Lisa, Sarina, and Mario.  Nonneto of Michaela and Nina.  

Brother of the late Antonio (surviving Clara), late Pasquale (surviving Antonia), and Caterina (Americo) Ricci.

Special nephew of the late Dionisio (surviving Filomena) Muscedere.

He will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family in Canada, Italy, and the United States.

Mario was most proud of the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mario enjoyed being outdoors especially if it was hunting, gardening, or being on the job site for Mady development.

He was a proud member of the Ciociaro Club and an avid fan of the Windsor Spitfires and Montreal Canadians.

His legacy will live on in the hearts of family, friends, and the countless lives he touched.

Visitation will be held on Sunday September 29, 2024 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm with vigil prayers at 4:00pm, and again from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd E. in Windsor.  A funeral mass will occur on Monday September 30 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Atonement Catholic Church on 2940 Forest Glade Dr, Windsor with an interment at Windsor Memorial Gardens following the mass.
