I first met Dr. Edward King at the University of Windsor. He took or audited several of my Philosophy courses. He was an excellent top-notch student and a very learned gentleman. We had many philosophical discussions over the years ranging from philosophy of language to epistemology to metaphysics. It was always a joy to talk with Ed. I was highly impressed with all the university degrees Ed had earned over the years. He was also very active in OPUS and he was one of the people responsible for obtaining a drug plan for part time students at the University of Windsor. He was very much involved with the University community. I am fortunate to have known him, and I will miss him very much. My deepest condolences to the family.

To all of Ed's family, I first met Ed at St. John The Baptist School where we taught together. After he retired he would phone me and we had many lengthy and enjoyable conversations. He would always mention Pauline and his family. I regretted losing touch with him after he moved out of his house. Ed was always a gentleman, humble and overall great guy. The world would be a much better place if people were more like Ed King that's for sure. I pray that our heavenly father welcomes Ed with open arms into His Eternal kingdom and that he keeps Ed's family under His loving guidance and protection. Sincerely, Roger Chauvin

I met Ed, who was introduced to me by Norm. I would see him here and there, a constant presence around Windsor. He ALWAYS had time to stop and talk and ask how you were. A wonderful compassionate intelligent man who will be missed. My deepest condolences to his family especially Norm.

To Jylene & Bethany and family, My most sincere condolences to you on the loss of your father. Both your father and mother were wonderful people and always treated my so well when I was a kid. It warmed my heart when they attended my wedding as well as my own father's funeral. They never for got me, and I will certainly never forget them.
