Obituary of Michael Douglas Marentette

MARENTETTE- Michael Douglas "Pork Chop"

Passed away on September 23, 2024 with family by his side. Loving father of Alyssa, Tyler (Deneen) Dear grandpa to Logan, Hailey and Blake. Beloved husband of Robin Chartier and a father to her children Stephen (Agata), Michael, Kaitlyn (Chris). Special grandpa to Olivia, Ava, Logan, Jaxon, Wyatt and Zayden. Loving brother of Debbie (Marcel), Dawn (Russ) and predeceased by brothers Marty and Mark. Dear son of the late Orval and Joanne Marentette. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his extended family the Chartier's. Mike was a proud employee of  Mega Mold International as a truck driver. Mike was an avid and true fan for the Montreal Canadians and Detroit Lions he will be missed by many for his humor and love..  Special thank you to all the owners and employees of Mega Mold for all your visits, support and friendship to Mike during his illness you will never be forgotten. We would like to express our deep gratitude to all the Doctors, Nurses and staff at Hospice for his final days with him. We want to acknowledge all the family and friends who have shown great support to Mike during his illness. We would like to thank all the  nurses and  PSW  who helped during this time.

As per Mike's wishes and his own decision cremation has taken place.

A memorial visitation for Mike will take place at the WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E (519)253-7235 on Thursday September 26, 2024 from 2 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm. As your expression of sympathy donations in Mike's memory may be made to the Hospice of Windsor would be greatly appreciated by the family.
