John William Russell Luxford January 26, 1958 - September 12, 2024 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John William Russell Luxford on September 12, 2024, at the age of 66. Now reunited with his beloved wife Denise (2022), whom his love for remained a central part of his life. John was a wonderful father and dear friend to John II (Alyson), Amanda (Jarrod), and Lauren (Justin). Proud Grandpa to Isla and Ivy. Cherished brother to Vicki and James (Fran) and beloved son to Russell (2019) and Elizabeth (2022). John was passionate about many things in life, but none more than his family, friends, and the game of golf. He treasured spending time with his grandchildren, toasting good times with friends, or playing a round of golf with his late wife. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support. He touched the lives of so many friends around him with his compassion, generous spirit, and wisdom. His sudden departure leaves a void that will never be filled in our hearts, but his memory will forever be a guiding light for his children. The family extends a heartfelt thanks for your love and support through this difficult time. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral home (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Wednesday September 18th, 2024 at 12pm until The Time of Service in the Chapel at 2pm where family and friends are invited to celebrate his life.
