Obituary of Delfo Marino Frescura

FRESCURA, Delfo Marino "Freddy" Passed away peacefully on November 27, 2008 after a lengthy illness, at the age of 85 years. Husband of Vivian (nee Pierobon). Loving father to George Frescura and wife Debra of London, Ontario. Cherished "Nonno" to Ashley Frescura, Cassandra and husband Jim Denomme. Dear brother of Bruna Frescura-Nuti of Dearborn, Michigan and her late husband Victor. Predeceased by brother Gianni Frescura (2003) and surviving wife Marina of Toronto, Ontario. Dear brother-in-law to Fausta Pierobon-Giordani of Italy, and Livio Pierobon and wife Claire of Kamloops, B.C. Marino is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and family in Canada and Italy. Marino was a retired employee of Butcher Engineering after many years of dedicated service. A heartfelt thank you to the staff on the 3rd floor at Malden Park for their compassionate care shown to Delfo and his family. At Marino's request cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, November 30, 2008 from 1 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 3 p.m. in the Chapel.
