Obituary of Marilynn Simon

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marilynn — loving and devoted mom, Nana, and friend to all whose lives she touched — on August 30, 2024, peacefully with her family by her side. Marilynn is predeceased by her parents, Horace and Elsie Busher; her devoted husband, Joe Simon; her brother, Jim Busher; and her sister, Betty Labute. She leaves behind her three children, Roxanne, Adam, and Elsie; her son-in-laws, Ron and Ken; her daughter-in-law, Katherine; her grandchildren, Tammy (Dale), Timothy (Jessica), Brandon (Holly), Taylor (Natalie), Juliana (Alex), and Victoria; and her great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Jacob, Remy, and Andie. A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends on Thursday, September 5, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Windsor Chapel Banwell (11677 Tecumseh Rd East, Tecumseh, Ontario). In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Second Chance Animal Rescue  (Essex County) are welcomed.
