74 years.  Passed away on August 26, 2024.  Beloved wife of William (Bill) Williams.  Loving and cherished mother to Jeffrey Chappell.  Adored step mother to Billy (Cheri) Williams, Tanya Williams, Mathew Williams, Karen (Duncan) Wilson, Allan (Jennifer) Williams.  Predeceased by her parents  Edward (Ted) Kerr (1976) and Patricia Kerr-Atkins (2018).  Dear sister to Ronald Kerr, Douglas Kerr, Kathy Leonard and Patti Plante.  Will be sadly missed by many step grandchildren,  nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was remembered for her outstanding work withn the community and for charity to others. Chairperson for the Windsor Advisory Committee on Disabled Issues (WACDI) for 2 terms. She was a proud advocate for the disabled and noted in community newspapers throughout her life.  Honored with the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee medal for her work both in her community and the province of Ontario, Co-creating the Ontario Disability Act. 

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Avenue (519-253-7236) on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.  Cremation to follow.  Donations to the March of Dimes would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences and memories can be shared at www.windsorchapel.com
