Obituary of Michael Furey

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Furey, on August 28, 2024. Loving husband to Darlene, and step-father to Amber. Husband to the late Marlene, brother-in-law to the Mailloux family. Cherished father to the late Jo-Anne (Jerry) and Michael. Dear grandfather to Jessica, Marissa, Rachel and Spencer. Predeceased by parents John and Molly, and brother Sean. Survived by sister Mary (Sheamus) of Ireland. Mike will be missed by his brother-in-law Brian (Rose), sisters-in-law Pam (Wolf) and Dianna (Wayne), Uncle Floyd and many nieces, nephews and extended family. If so desired, donations can be made out in memory of Mike to The Heart & Stroke Foundation. 

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel - Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E) on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 10am until the time of funeral service at 11am. Cremation to follow. Online condolences may be shared at windsorchapel.com.
