My deep condolences to the surviving members of Lana’s family. I knew her late husband when we worked at Chrysler. Lana was always a wonderful neighbour. She truly inspired me to pray more and to believe in the power of prayer. I will miss her delicious fruit cake loaf that she would make every Christmas and deliver to my door for many years. I truly feel she is entering her final resting place which I believe she prayed and worked to obtain. Yours truly, David Deluzio

My condolences to Lana's family. Lana was a caring genuine soul. I will miss her cookies, yearly letters of her adventures, and her phone calls checking in and asking if there is anything she can pray for. Lana was always reaching out to others need. Rest in peace Lana.

Lana is the heart & soul of the Class of 1963 of Hotel Dieu Hospital School of Nursing. She was always a part of every reunion and made sure we all knew where every other classmate was and was doing. She made sure we all stayed in touch in sickness and in health and was still sending us birthday cards even as her own health was failing. She & ! roomed together one reunion year at the Windsor Casino and we had a truly delightful time. She prayed for all of us even during the reunion. She cared enough to pray and loved us all despite our craziness. i'm sure Jesus was waiting to fill her with love & light. Rest in His arms Lana! Joan Spray Hutton

We are so sad to hear of Aunt Lana’s passing. We have very fond memories of her growing up and when she came out to Victoria for our wedding as well. She has been so thoughtful over the years acknowledging our anniversary and I felt particularly connected to her when recently visiting the holy land as she had done.
