Obituary of Sandra Laudicina

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra Laudicina at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Peter for 50 years. Caring mother to her son Alan and grandmother to Lucas and Madelyn Laudicina. She is reunited with her parents Elmer and Dorothy Priskey, her brother Alan Priskey, her niece Nickie Priskey and sister in law Vincenza Cuffaro. Sandra will be deeply missed by her niece Leslie Michelle Priskey, her siblings in law Antonina Santia (late Ubaldo) and John and Angela Laudicina, as well as her many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In her life, Sandra worked for many years as a nurse in Detroit. She was an avid lover of birds. She was a strong woman as she battled and surpassed expectations associated with muscular dystrophy.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Bayshore Home Health and the director Sonnie Armstrong, as well as a thank you to all of the doctors and nurses at the Windsor Regional Hospital Metropolitan Campus.

If so desired, donations can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Wings Rehabilitation Centre, or the Education Fund of Lucas and Madelyn Laudicina.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E 519-253-7234 on Tuesday August 27th, 2024 from 3-7pm. Funeral services to take place Wednesday August 28th, 2024 at 10am then to Immaculate Heart Church (2153 Parkwood Ave) for 10:30am. Cremation to follow.
