Dear Darcia and Dean,
Was so sorry to hear about your loss. I always thought of Joyce as a second mother. She taught me how to make French Toast. When my mother passed Joyce was able to give me my mother's recipe for turkey stuffing. Your mother always always made time to sit and have coffee with any visitor. Christmas Eve at the Favot home was always special, more so because of your mother's welcoming smile.
She won her wings many times over and I am certain that she is happy with her beloved Olivio, Diane and Donna.

Dean I apologize that I could not be there for you in this painful moment of saying good bye to your mother.
From this photo of your mother she looks so lovely and such a beautiful smile. She must have been such a positive influence for you and I am sure she was so proud of the amazing job she did as a mother.
I want to thank you for always being so kind to me when I worked at the Dieu. You were always down to earth and friendly and funny and happy and respectful and above all a great doctor.
You always brighten my day when you walked into the cafeteria with your big smile and your laughter.
Take care
Love Cheryl Mailloux

Dean, Darcia, and family, my deepest condolences on the passing of your mom. I have such fond memories of her.
I have attached a few slides that I had digitized for my mom last year from trips to I believe to be the Beach Club in Florida from 1972.

It was so much fun growing up on Longfellow, next door to the Favots: there was someone our age for each of us to play with. I remember playing cards in the back seat of their car in summertime, games in the playroom at the back of the house, skipping over the chains along the driveway, climbing the back fence into their yard, pulling out the insides of fresh cornetti in the kitchen. Joyce was the prettiest, most elegant mom on the block, with an unforgettable voice. She'd have a canvas propped up on the counter in the midst of all us kids and our mess. Livio once brought over some rabbits he'd shot for dinner, and they sat on our basement counter for the longest time. We'd watch the fireworks from our front porches as our dads shot them off at the end of the driveway. It was a big deal when Zia Dot came for a visit: such stylish women. I still have a terracotta piece hanging in my backyard from Joyce's elegant little shop. Joyce will always be remembered by her South Windsor friends and neighbors - "May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest."

Sending sincere condolences to Joyce's loved ones. I remember her from yrs ago when she was a loving daughter and faithful visitor to her mother- a resident of Villa Maria. She always stopped and chatted, telling me funny stories of her mom in her younger days. She was a beautiful lady and was proud of her family. God bless!

Dear family:
Your mother was quite the lady! We enjoyed spending time with her and all of you whenever we visited Windsor. She had the ability, to always make strangers feel at home. At this difficult time, may you see God's love in the faces of your family and friends who loved her too. May you feel God's love in every caring word and know His true love during this difficult time.

Mrs. Favot, was a class act for sure!
I was introduced to this family as a teenager, while acting as a legal secretary for the beautiful Diane. What an amazing family it is!

Just a lovely lady! A "Farron" favorite at the store. Ted's holiday was not complete without a stop to Joyce's house to drop off a ham that was left behind or a cut of meat wasn't up to Ted's standards. I have alot of "butcher shop" stories !
Condolences to the family. Lots of respect to Darcia and Dave for the loving care-giving .
