SIRIZZOTTI, Teresa (nee Rotondo)
With very sad hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Nonna, Bis-nonna, Sister, Sister in-law, Aunt and Friend. Born on July 25, 1929 in Veroli, Frosinone, Italy, Teresa passed away peacefully on August 16, 2024, with her children and family by her side at the age of 95 years. Teresa is reunited with her beloved husband Beniamino "Benny" Sirizzotti (2014) with whom she celebrated 66 years of blessed marriage, and her grandson Frankie Sirizzotti (2011). She leaves to mourn her loving sons, Gino and wife Giovanna and Frank and wife Maria; her grandchildren, Nick and wife Samantha, Benny, Chris, Lisa and husband Jarrod; and great-grandchildren Marcello, Jaiden, Braelynn, and Decklyn; and Joseph and Rosemarie. Dear sister to the late Umberto Rotondo and wife Carmela, late Fiorinda Testani and husband Gino, late Annita Recine and husband Martino, Pietro Rotondo and wife Anna, and Nazzareno Rotondo and wife Teresa. Dear sister in-law to the late Trieste Sirizzotti and wife Santina, Crescenzo Sirizzotti and late wife Augustina, Emilio Sirizzotti and wife Gina, late Marietta Yanneli and husband Nino, and late Luisetta D'Amico and husband Santino. She will be forever missed by nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. Teresa was a member of St. Angela Merici Church and retired from the housekeeping department at Hotel Dieu Hospital after many years of dedicated service. A heartfelt and sincere thank you to the staff at Hospice Residential Home, Windsor, doctors Aboulisayen and Shaglouf, PSW's from St. Elizabeth's Healthcare, especially Domenca and Wendy for their compassionate care provided to Teresa. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 10:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
