Obituary of Mariamma Thomas

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness” II Timothy 4:7

Mariamma (Mary) Thomas, born on June 21, 1952, peacefully passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on the evening of August 12th.

Throughout her life, Mary embodied strength, grace, and unwavering faith, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be cherished by her family and friends.

Mary was the beloved wife of Daniel Thomas. She was a dear mother of her son Justin and her late son Jason, and a cherished grandmother to Mateo and Mason. Mary was also a loving mother-in-law to Rochelle, embracing her as part of the family. She is survived by her three siblings Annamma (Paulose), Mathai (Kunjamma), Paily (Seena) and their families.

Mariamma's faith was her foundation, guiding her through life's challenges with resilience and hope as she faced her illness. Her battle with cancer was long and arduous, but she fought with the heart of a warrior, never wavering in her spirit.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the dedicated Oncology team and the supporting staff at the Windsor Cancer Clinic. Their compassionate care and unwavering support made a profound difference in Mary's journey.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel - Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E) on Friday August 16th 2024 from 9am until time of Chapel Service at 10am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
