Obituary of Virginia Hogan

On August 8, 2024 in her 98th year Virginia Hogan passed away into the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Her faith is made sight and she is forever in glory. She is reunited with her husband of 66 years, Bernie (2013). Predeceased by her daughter Shannon (2023) Pam (2024). Loving mother to John and Alma. Cherished grandmother to Bob (Lisa), and Jonna Miggins (Matthew). Special G.G. to Angelica, Michela, Sydney, Ireland, Eden and Makai. Devoted sister to Claire (late Donald) Douglas. Predeceased by brothers and sisters-in-law Clarence and Eleanor Menard, Bob and Marie Menard, Jack and Margaret Menard, and Gordon Menard. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers-in-law Doreen Chodola (late Richard), Diane VanHooren (late Andy). Survived by sisters-in-law Angela Hogan (late Ed), and Sandy Menard. Predeceased by brothers-in- law and sisters-in- law Leo and Pheobe Hogan, Jim and Kay Hogan, Frank and Jeanne Hogan. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Virginia retired from SEARS Canada after 26 years, and was a life long member of the CWL with Our Lady of Guadalupe. The family extend their heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at Extendicare Southwood Lakes for their extraordinary and compassionate care they provided for Virginia the last five years. Visitation will be held at Ste. Anne Church (12233 Tecumseh Rd E) on Monday, August 12, 2024 from 10am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Burial to follow at St. Anne Cemetery. If so desired, donations can be made in memory of Virginia to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell.
