Obituary of Teresa Spadafora

SPADAFORA, Teresa (nee Congi)

February 5, 1932 – August 3, 2024

Passed away peacefully with loving family by her side at the age of 89 years.  Loving wife of the late Antonio Spadafora (2021) for 65 wonderful years.  Much loved Mother of Bill (Margaret) Spadafora, Cathy (Milan) Pecarski, Vicky (Pete) Oliverio, Maria (Gasper) Galifi, Antonio (Rose) Spadafora. Cherished Nonna of Anthony Spadafora, Sanya Pecarski, Melissa Spadafora (Scott Sheppard), Alex Pecarski, Allisa Oliverio (Michael Popel), Julianna Galifi (Aidan Potvin), Gianfranco Oliverio (Kylie Pahomey), Marco Galifi, and Antonio Franco Spadafora (Future Baby Spadafora).  Bisnonna of Noah Sheppard. Predeceased by her parents Salvatore Congi and Vittoria (Nee Secreti).  Predeceased by her brothers of Giovanni and Franco.  Teresa will be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends from both Canada, USA and Italy.  Teresa was a generous and compassionate, family focused, strong woman, whom always enjoyed life to the fullest.  Travel was one of her favorite past times as well as spending time with her closest friends and family over an espresso.  A special thank you to all who have helped Teresa during this special journey and their continued support and duty of care. 

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Avenue (519-253-7236) on Monday, August 5, 2024 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Prayers at 8 p.m.  Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 10:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home, then to St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Avenue) for the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.  Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
