Dear Chris and family: I am so sorry to hear about Dees passing. Please accept my sincerest sympathy. I had the privilege of meeting Dee on a Bible study entitled SHE WARRIORS. She was such a beautiful woman filled with a lot of wisdom and grace. God made no mistake in having me meet Dee and become her friend. I will miss her dearly. There are just not enough wonderful words to describe this beautiful soul. Dee & I met in May 1977, we were neighbors.(Second Mom to my kids while we lived there). She was not one of the best , she was the best , kindest, caring friend one could ask for. My heart holds so many memories of having her in my life. Rest in heaven my beautiful friend. I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Dee. We worked together at Villanova. She was a beautiful, kind woman whom I enjoyed having our daily talks with (much focused on our faith). She talked of her family often with much love and pride. Heaven has certainly gained a beautiful angel. Sending my deepest condolences and prayers.

We will miss our beautiful, kind, loving friend. Our friendship goes back over many, many years. We double dated as teenagers, were in each other’s weddings, lived a few doors down from one another as young parents and raised our children together in Forest Glade. We have remained best of friends all these years. It will be so difficult knowing she will not be with us in body. However, she will always be with us in spirit and in our wonderful memories . Dee's heart and hands were always open to graciously welcome you, share a kindness, extend love, share her faith, and always invite you to have some fresh baked sweets. She was a lovely woman who cultivated beauty in her home, her gardens and in her family and friends. She will be dearly missed. Chris, Christa, Kim, Lesley and Families: It is with heavy, heavy hearts that we express our deepest condolences to you all. The loss of Dee is profound on so many levels. We have only the fondest memories of Dee, going way back when she joined our Martin clan. If there was a list of the sweetest, kindest, most loving souls - rest assured that her name would be right there at the top. She was just so lovely. Always. Her compassion for others knew no bounds and was confirmed in each and every interaction you had with her. Most assuredly the gates opened widely and the light shone brilliantly to welcome her.
