Obituary of Laurel Campeau

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on July 30, 2024 at the age of 73. Beloved wife of Donald “Weazel” Campeau. Loving mother to Krista Wright (Michael), Matt Murphy (Olesja) and Bailey Clark (Dustin). Cherished “Grandma Kitty” to Aiden, Keirin, Madeleine and Sawyer. Dear sister of Bobbie Tickins, Carol Wilson and John Payne. Heavenly reunited with her best friend Barbara Belleperche. She will be dearly missed by the entire Campeau family, her nephews, her cherished friends and her cats Sammy and Roxy.

Laurel loved dancing, listening to music and had a special love for animals. A special thank you to Dr. Freeman, the staff at Windsor Regional Cancer Centre and the team at Windsor Hospice for all their compassionate care. In honour of Laurel's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Sunday August 25, from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at 519 Beer House, 11828 Tecumseh Rd. E. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County.
