Obituary of Jean-Pierre Fortin

FORTIN, Jean - Pierre It is with heavy hearts that we express the passing of our beloved husband , father , son & brother on November 21, 2008, at the age of 62. Cherished husband & best friend of Marie ( nee Hudon ) sharing 39 years of love & companionship. Loving & devoted father of Lisa and Julie. Beloved son of Marie-France Guay & the late Augustin Fortin. Dear brother of Henri-Charles, Jeanne-Mance, Pauline, Jerome, Jacqueline, Marie-Claire, Madeleine, Serge, Estelle, Roger, Jacinthe, Julien and predeceased by Robert, Paul and Rosaire. Jean - Pierre will be lovingly remembered by his brothers & sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and by many dear friends. Jean - Pierre was a longtime and very active member of St. Jerome Church , a retired employee of Chrysler Canada and a member of CAW Local #444. VISITATION AT THE THE WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd East on Tuesday from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. Parish prayers Tuesday evening at 7 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday November 26, 2008 at 9:15 AM from the Funeral Home then to St. Jerome Church (3739 Ypres) for Funeral Mass at 10 AM. Procession to Heavenly Rest Cemetery , followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or to the Hospice of Windsor & Essex County.
