NICODEMO, Elizabeth (nee Papp)

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our cherished Mom, Elizabeth Nicodemo, at the age of 90 on July 17, 2024. Reunited with her loving husband Jack (1980). Born on January 1, 1934, to the late Louis (1976) and Julia Papp (2000). Loving Mother to Jim (Kim) and Lisa Crowder (Carey). Devoted Nona to Jack (Chrissy), Ryan (Kayla), Karly (Gavin), Juliana Crowder (Max) and Jordyn Crowder. Adoring Bisnona to Mark, Sofia and Cleo. Dear sister-in-law to the late Walter (2024) and late Antonietta Nicodemo (2011). Loving Zia to John Nicodemo (Sindia) and Linda Nicodemo. Loving Sister to the late Louis (2017) and Virginia Papp. Dear Aunt to Laura Toffan (Will), Michael Papp (Brenda), late Patricia Papp (2006), Dan Papp and Rob Papp (Luciana).

Elizabeth was a vibrant, caring and generous person who loved travelling, watching movies and food (especially chocolate). She also loved playing bridge and euchre. Elizabeth was a loving, caring and devoted mother, who was always putting her families needs before her own. She treasured her family dearly and cherished her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Elizabeth worked at Hiram Walker until her and her husband took over Bryant Heating and Cooling company. Elizabeth and Jack were married for a short 24 years but in that time together, they made a lifetime of memories. Special thank you to her very dear friend Madeline Rossi, for her special visits and for keeping her spirits up. Sincere appreciation to all of the staff on Lookout Point Wing at Heron Terrace for their exceptional care of our mother.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Location, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The visitation will continue at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of the Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
