Hi Big Al and Mrs. Walsh. It has been a long time since I have seen you guys. I wish I was talking to you under different cicumstances. I am in shock over what has happened to your son and my friend. I just wanted to say how sorry I feel for you right now. I am dealing with it by remembering all the good times that we shared together. I will never forget the times on Isack Dr. and then your house on Riverside Dr. I do not remember seeing the two of you since then. You guys were like my second parents, I was there so much. I wish that I could have been there for you, and I tried calling John last night, leaving a message on someone elses answering machine and then deciding to wait for todays paper. I called the funeral home in the morning and they told me to call back after 3pm. By that time I missed everything and the chance of seeing the family together again. The things that I remember the most, were all the Spifire hockey games and the players you billeted (especially Richy and George),Spending time with John, Debbie and Pool. Bruce going into the cellar on Riverside Drive and stealing shortbread cookies almost daily( That was the best homemade shortbread I have ever had!!) and of course Big Al always trying to give us a hard time and being polite at the same time. Drag racing was his biggest hobby and I will always remember going to Cayuga with Bruce,Deb and Pool. You guys were my second family and my thoughts are with you.
