Obituary of Innocenzo Antonio De Bellis
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Innocenzo De Bellis on July 03, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
Born to his late parents Atillo De Bellis and Maria Giuseppina De Bellis (Tribelli) on November 4, 1930, in Italy.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 68 years Pasqualina De Bellis (Covelli).
Loving father to Pierina De Bellis and Maria (late Kevin) Shafer.
Nonno to his precious Selina Shafer, she was truly the light of his life.
Reunited with his 4 dear brothers, 3 dearest sisters, and 4 sisters in law and 3 brothers in law.
Dearest son in law of the late Pierino and Giovanna Covelli.
He will be greatly missed by his 3 sisters in law, and his 3 brothers in law, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In 1955 he immigrated to Canada where he made his start in construction. He later dedicated 32 years working at Ford Motor Company. He enjoyed spending time with his family and some of his greatest passions were watching wrestling and caring for his vegetable garden.
The family would like to thank the care teams for their kindness and care during his time with them.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8 2024, from 2-5pm & from 7-9pm at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home South (3048 Dougall Ave) with prayers to be held at 4:30pm. Innocenzo will rest at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (804 Grand Marais Rd E) from 10am until time of Funeral Mass at 11am. Entombment at Heavenly Rest (5005 Howard Ave) to follow.
